The Christmas lights are owned by the Talgarth Town Council, they are repaired, put up and mantained through the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers. The 'Happy Band' put up the lights every Tuesday and Friday night and some Saturdays and Sundays from late October until the "Switch on".
