Talgarth and District Regeneration Group

Talgarth Regeneration Group was set up by a group of volunteers with the encouragement of the late Lord Richard Livsey. Its aims are based on a ‘Wish List’ published in 2006 after public consultation . The Group runs the Talgarth Rural Market which takes place on the first Sunday of the month (betweenFeb – Nov) in the Town Hall, Talgarth. The market is growing in popularity both with vendors and shoppers, brings together artisans, producers and much more, specifically highlighting local traders. The culmination of the Market activity happens with the annual Christmas Market, this year taking place for the first time in the Cattle Market, a much larger venue. The Group are hopeful along with many traders, live music , seasonal food and drink, that it will draw visitors both from the local vicinity and further afield. The Group also runs Talgarth Flix in the Stix, a volunteer initiative holding screenings of pre public released films in the Town Hall, Talgarth. The Group meets regularly.
